This website was created in 2003 in order to provide information about MD/PhD programs. Information about the programs and applying in general [FAQ], specific programs reviews, information for international students, links about medical scientist training and a Guidebook for the MD/PhD years have been compiled. This site is sustained by the contribution and feedback of applicants, and collaboration with other students.

This site is critically sustained by the submission of reviews as applicants progress through the process. If you have benefited from this site, please contribute to the continual renewal of school reviews, regardless of how redundant it may seem. Your opinion and impression is valuable. The only stipulation is that reviews are submitted prior to committments of matriculation to a particular school. Please submit reviews to mdphd(AT)intransit.us.

While the impressions of enthusiastic interviewees is a critical prespective, make sure an effort is made to contact and speak with students who are more advanced in their respective programs. If there are suggestions on how to incorporate their voices, it would be appreciated.

Finally, the variety of residencies that MD/PhD's pursue is as diverse as ever. It would be excellent to hear from students matching to various residencies, specifically about the choice they made. While I will make an effort to facilitate these sort of submissions, please encourage those you know to contact this site with their experiences.
